How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
Main use of technology for construction and research, planning and evaluation stages where Wix, YouTube, Photoshop, and just Google in general
Other programs that I used that helped me construct research and planing us Prezie, Emaze, Powerpoint. These 3 main programs allowed me to do music video analysis in different way and showcase them in new types of formats and design to allow easier read and so there is less of same boring repetitive Wix posts.
The used of new and improved Photoshop creative cloud this year allowed us as individual media creators to test out more new features and be more creative with our work. For example when designing digipak and magazine replicas we were able to be more professional with the tools that Photoshop CC provided us with. Furthermore we where able to crop and upload higher quality images to our website.
Using YouTube and Google allowed me as a media producer to find and gather already existing ideas, codes and conventions of same genre music videos. Furthermore YouTube allowed us to upload our music video drafts, preliminary task and find other peoples work with actual real music videos very fast, thus making our work faster and smoother. As well we where able to gather necessary knowledge in our research trough YouTube and google to know what makes good music video and what kind of props, lighting and other features should be present.
Wix was the main upgrade this year, going from Blogger which is basic blog website to professional website creator like Wix allowed us to be more creative in the way we present media text to the audience and be more outgoing with the actual design of the posts and research, Furthermore it makes planning and research to be accessed easier by other individuals. Over all development of Wix allowed me to learn the basic of designing and presenting website to the audience even tho it was difficult to get used to new features, it allowed to show a better overall progression of my work over period of time.
