Evaluation 4 - Feedback What have you learned from your audience feedback?
Final Music video
Some of the feedback
Students who are local audience commented on the music video we have produced. Over all there where few major feedback points. To begin with the Lip sic was perfect most of the video but there where parts where they could of been improved because it was out of sync and it was noticeable. The narrative was creative and unique it was easy to know what was going on by watching the music video couple of times and this shows that we where able to actually show the story in music video perfectly. Other facts are the shot choice and the camera angels and that the lyrics match the visuals.
What have i learnt from this feedback is that by sticking to Goodwin's theory about how lyrics should match the lyrics thus creating a meaning and story trough the song and the visuals you can create a complex story that audience can easily understand. This is clear from the feedback as the audience agreed that they can understand what is happening in the music video without knowing anything about it and understand the meaning of song and how it came to be.
The location of music video and ethos and house style is seen as a match with the music video, research and planing. This is because we tried to keep everything related so it carry's a meaning all across the work and music video allowing audience to be more related. In feedback we asked what would suite the music the location, outfits and if they would like to see the artist play and instrument and if yes what kind of instrument they would like to see. With most people agreeing that they would like to see the location be set in city with the artist playing an instrument and that it would be a guitar so thus we put that in the narrative of the video creating a positive response from the audience, This shows that by following audience wishes you can create a good music video with positive criticism from the audience.
